OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL SERVICES. a. PRE-CONSTRUCTION SURVEYING SERVICES ▪ Recover and verify existing control monumentation necessary to perform the services required underthe project. ▪ Establish or recover centerline control. ▪ Reference all horizontal control to the alignment in the construction drawings for the project ▪ Base all vertical control on the benchmarks identified in the construction drawings for the project. ▪ Stake the centerline at the beginning and ending point of the alignment and at 500-foot intervals. Stake all PC's, PT’s, PI's ▪ Establish temporary benchmarks within 500 feet of the beginning and ending points of the alignment and at 1,000 feet intervals throughout the project outside of the proposed constructionarea. ▪ Stake the right‐of‐way line, based on iron rods found or set during project design, with lathes and flaggingon both sidesof the Project alignment at 100‐foot intervals. ▪ Prepare a survey control drawing showing the centerline points established in the field and locations by station and offset to the temporary benchmarks and alternatively validate the controls indicated on the project plans.
