Option Plan. The District will not be obligated to provide health insurance coverage if it would result in more than one health insurance plan for a family unit. If the bargaining unit member's spouse is also an employee of the District, the bargaining unit member shall designate who is to be the carrier of health insurance. Employees receiving generally comparable insurance coverage through a spouse employed by the District shall not be eligible for insurance coverage provided by the District. There shall be no double coverage provided by the District.
