Common use of Ongoing Clause in Contracts

Ongoing. 2.1 Defines a position that has an indefinite period of employment characterised by a long term need and funding. An ongoing contract should be offered if the position is ongoing or does not meet the criteria for fixed-term contracts provided at subclause 3 of this Clause.
