To help staff in staff augmentation positions bring value to our customers from day one of engagement, ASD has instituted comprehensive onboarding practices. During onboarding, ASD meets with each new hire to answer questions and to review ASD expectations, their job role and responsibilities, customer expectations and preferences, and the customer environment and culture. ASD also typically escorts the staff member into the workplace on the first day of the job, making introductions as appropriate. ASD follows up with the new hire after the first week and routinely thereafter to ensure that the hire has everything he or she needs to successfully serve the customer. In addition to providing a thorough orientation, and monitoring and supporting the staff member’s performance, ASD proactively checks in with the customer on a regular basis to gauge customer satisfaction and ASD service quality and to make any needed adjustments.
