OFFICIAL SECRETS ACT. Contractors are often required to abide by this Act due to the sensitive nature of some public sector projects. The Boilerplate clause saves Clients from drafting this themselves if required, creating an obligation to comply with this Act and, where appropriate, section 11 of the Atomic Energy Act 1946.
