The 'Offender Funds' clause defines how money belonging to an offender is managed, held, or disbursed while they are under the supervision or custody of an institution. Typically, this clause outlines the procedures for depositing, withdrawing, and using these funds, such as for commissary purchases, restitution payments, or other authorized expenses. Its core function is to ensure proper accounting and control of offender finances, preventing misuse and providing transparency for both the institution and the offender.
Offender Funds. Funds of an individual CDCR Offender shall be provided to CONTRACTOR by CDCR within seven (7) working days of the CDCR Offender’s transfer. These funds shall be held and managed pursuant to policies, procedures and practices, which shall be provided to CONTRACTOR prior to inmate arrival.
