OCCUPATIONAL ILLNESS OR INJURY LEAVE. 8.2.1 Unit members who sustain an injury or illness compensable by Xxxxxx's Compensation causing them to be absent from work and who are unable to perform their regular normal duties, will be paid the difference between their regular salary and compensation benefits for the time they are absent from work for a period up to their accumulated sick leave.
