Common use of Objectives and Commitments Clause in Contracts

Objectives and Commitments. (1) The parties are committed to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering and building services which support the operations of all MHSB hospitals. The parties acknowledge that such improvement will be to the mutual benefit of the community of Western Australia, the Metropolitan Health Service and employees thereby enhancing the career opportunities and job security of employees. (2) The parties are committed to continue to constructively engage in the progression of matters detailed in Appendix B – Workplace Reform of the Metropolitan Health Service Engineering and Building Services Enterprise Award (the Award). (3) The parties are committed to identifying, during the life of this agreement, measures of workforce productivity for the purposes of establishing baseline productivity levels thereby facilitating the quantification of future productivity improvement.
