OAPSE WORKSHOPS a. The employee must request Professional Leave. Upon approval, the employee may be permitted to attend the OAPSE Workshop and will be paid at the regular rate.
OAPSE WORKSHOPS. Any employee covered by this Agreement may apply for a Professional day(s) to attend meetings for professional improvement. Such application is to be made on Professional Leave forms and is subject to approval by the employee’s immediate supervisor and the Superintendent.
OAPSE WORKSHOPS. Any custodian scheduled to work ▇▇▇▇ day may attend the OAPSE Workshops held on the same day. Such leave shall be with pay providing that the employee show proof of registration and attendance at the workshop(s) on the following work day.
OAPSE WORKSHOPS. Employees who are members of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees shall be released with pay to attend the annual district meeting of the above Union when such meeting is held on a day that schools are not in session. The employee shall file a request for the released time at least one week in advance of the district meeting.
OAPSE WORKSHOPS. The Board agrees to permit employees of the bargaining unit to attend OAPSE Workshops or conferences up to a total of three (3) work days with pay. In order to be paid for that day's work the employees must sign in at the beginning of the meeting, conference, or workshop.
OAPSE WORKSHOPS. The Board agrees to permit all employees in the bargaining unit to attend OAPSE Workshops which are held on OAPSE/NEOEA day and to be paid for such. In order to be paid, employees must sign in at the beginning of the meeting and remain in attendance throughout the scheduled meeting. Those members not attending an OAPSE Workshop must report to work on that day if scheduled.
OAPSE WORKSHOPS. Any employee covered by this Agreement may apply for Professional Growth leave to attend meetings for professional improvement. Such application is subject to approval by the employee’s immediate supervisor and the Superintendent. The employee must record his/her request for / use of Professional Growth Leave through the District’s automated online absence management system (e.g., Aesop).
