Common use of Notify Company Clause in Contracts

Notify Company. If the Employee becomes legally bound to disclose any of the Confidential Information to a government or government body, authority or agency in accordance with clause 24 of the Employee Agreement regarding Governing Laws, the Employee must notify the Company in writing as soon as he becomes aware of such a requirement so that the Company may take such steps as will permit it to have a reasonable opportunity to oppose or to restrict such disclosure by lawful means.

If the Employee Executive becomes legally bound to disclose any of the Confidential Information to a government or government body, authority or agency in accordance with clause 24 of the Employee Agreement regarding Governing Laws1(c)(iii), the Employee Executive must notify the Company in writing as soon as he becomes aware of such a requirement so that the Company may take such steps as will permit it to have a reasonable opportunity to oppose or to restrict such disclosure by lawful means.
