Common use of Normal Work Shift Clause in Contracts

Normal Work Shift. 3 The normal work shift shall consist of eight and one-half (8½) hours including a forty (40) minute 4 uninterrupted lunch period. All employees scheduled to work five (5) hours or more shall be provided 5 a duty free lunch period of a minimum one-half hour. The lunch period shall be as close to the middle 6 of the shift as practicable. All normal work shifts shall have a ten (10) minute first half and a ten (10) 7 minute second half rest period.

All normal work shifts shall have is practicable and including a ten fifteen (1015) minute first half and a ten fifteen (1015) 7 minute second half rest period, both of which rest periods shall occur as near the middle of each half shift as is practicable.
