NEW METHODS. Within thirty (30) days after the Employer party to this Agreement introduces new methods of operation into the bargaining unit that require the establishment of new job classification, the Employer shall notify the Union in writing of the new classification, including a description of work being performed and the wage rate established. Any question as to the adequacy of the wage rate established for the new job classification shall be presented in writing by the Union within ten (10) calendar days following the Employer’s written notice to the Union, and shall be subject to the grievance procedure as set forth in Article 24 of this Agreement. If through the procedure as set forth in Article 24, it is determined that the wage rate assigned by the Employer should be adjusted, such adjustment shall be retroactive to the date of the Employer’s written notice to the Union.
