NEGOTIATIONS PROCEDURE AND ASSOCIATION SECURITY. Section 1: Recognition The State recognizes, in accordance with AS 23.40.070-23.40.260, the Teachers’ Education Association of Mt. Edgecumbe as the exclusive representative for all teachers in the bargaining unit for the purpose of negotiating to achieve mutually satisfactory agreements on matters pertaining to their employment and the fulfillment of their professional duties.
