Negligent Vehicle Impound Fee. The Negligent Vehicle Impound Fee, which is a separate fee in addition to the Tow License Fee, relates to additional City staff recovery costs to process a negligent vehicle impound. If applicable, the Negligent Vehicle Impound Fee shall be paid by the vehicle owner in person at the Chula Vista Police Department or online on the Chula Vista Police Department’s website prior to the release of the vehicle.
