Common use of Multiple Employees Bumping Clause in Contracts

Multiple Employees Bumping. If more than one Employee opts to fill a vacancy or bump another Employee, the Employee with the greater total court seniority shall have priority in exercising that option. Where two employees within Judicial Districts 1 and 7 have identical seniority dates, the following will determine their seniority: The last four digits of the employee’s social security number will be used to break the “tie.” The employee whose last four digits of their social security number is the larger number will be the employee with the most seniority.
