Common use of MULTIPLE AWARD Clause in Contracts

MULTIPLE AWARD. The County reserves the right to make multiple awards based on the results of this bid. The County shall award a primary contract to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder. Contractor agrees to provide job estimates based on bid rates within twenty-four (24) hours of request. The County shall give the primary Contractor first opportunity to perform all available work. If the County, at its sole discretion, determines the primary Contractor cannot respond in time, an alternate Contractor may be contacted to perform the required work. However, work being first given to the primary Contractor shall be subject to the overriding goal to ensure that the availability and continuation of services is maintained throughout the contract term among all awarded Contractors.
