Common use of Multi Clause in Contracts

Multi. unit and non-residential property.‌ 6.1 When this part applies. This part 6 applies to a mortgage where, when the mortgage is entered into, any one or more of the following conditions is met: • The property contains, or is to contain, five or more dwelling units. • A dwelling unit hasn't been built on the property. However, this paragraph doesn't apply where we intend advances under the mortgage to be used for building a dwelling unit or dwelling units on the property and the person who has the right to receive the advances is to live in it or at least one of them. • A material part of the property is being used, or is intended for use, for a commercial or industrial purpose. If we make a record showing whether any of the above applies, our record will be taken as true.
