Common use of Monitoring Use Clause in Contracts

Monitoring Use. 1. P-TECH OHM electronic resources are the property of P-TECH OHM, which therefore provides all rights to periodically monitor use of its electronic equipment. 2. P-TECH OHM may from time to time monitor social media prepared by or referring to P-TECH OHM students. The fact that a P-TECH OHM student may be permitted to choose his/ her own password does not imply they have any justifiable privacy expectations in the material protected by password. P-TECH OHM students do not have a privacy right to personal information transmitted or stored on P-TECH OHM equipment. 3. Student use of P-TECH OHM tools constitutes permission for P-TECH OHM to monitor communications and to access files/postings/data made on or with these tools, whether or not made/posted during students’ regular hours of school.
