Common use of Monitoring Component Clause in Contracts

Monitoring Component. To monitor progress toward the achievement of the desired impact and outcomes of the Compact, the Monitoring Component of the M&E Plan will identify (a) the Indicators (as defined below), (b) the definitions of the Indicators, (c) the sources and methods for data collection, (d) the frequency for data collection, (e) the party or parties responsible, and (f) the timeline for reporting on each Indicator to MCC. Further, the Monitoring Component will track changes in the selected Indicators as a means for measuring progress towards the achievement of the objectives during the Compact Term. The M&E Plan will establish baselines which measure the situation prior to a development intervention, against which progress can be assessed or comparisons made (including evaluations and special studies) (each, a “Baseline”). MCA-Philippines will collect Baselines on the selected Indicators or verify already collected Baselines where applicable and as set forth in the M&E Plan.
