Common use of Models Licence Clause in Contracts

Models Licence. 4.1 ARM hereby grants to LGS a non-transferable (subject to Clause 20.3), non-exclusive, world-wide right and licence under the ARM’s Intellectual Property rights, to: (i) reproduce, modify and use, internally and for third party support purposes, the Models and relevant documentation; (ii) reproduce and distribute, and sub-license (provided that the end user agrees to be bound by the End User Licence) the Use of the object code of the Models including any modified versions thereof; (iii) modify, reproduce, use and distribute, in connection with the Models including any modified versions thereof, the documentation (including any modified documentation) relevant thereto; (iv) sub-license the distribution rights granted to LGS under Clauses 4.1(ii) and (iii) to Authorized Distributors only. 4.2 For the avoidance of doubt, except as provided by Clause 4.1(iv), no right is granted to LGS to sub-license the right to sell, supply or otherwise distribute the Models.
