Common use of Model Homes Clause in Contracts

Model Homes. Subject to the provisions of Chapters 4.4 (“Sign Regulations”) and 4.5 (“Supplemental Use Regulations”) of the Zoning Code, Applicant shall also have the right, after the Corporate Authorities‟ approval of a Final Plat for a residential Zoning Parcel, and subject to issuance of building permits in accordance with the requirements of Article XIII, to construct model homes and, at Applicant‟s discretion, to utilize the model homes as sales offices in locations as from time to time determined by Applicant. All dwelling units, including model homes, are hereby “grandfathered” from required compliance with building code amendments which are duly adopted by the City following issuance of a building permit.
