Common use of Mobility Leave Clause in Contracts

Mobility Leave. Upon written request by February 1, notwithstanding M.S. (1) the teacher's age at the end of the leave; (2) the teacher’s years of teaching at the beginning of the leave; (3) the salary, defined in Section 10.3, of the teacher based on the last full year of teaching Employment; (4) the teacher’s benefits that prevail at the time the leave began. An amount equal to the sum paid in salary for School District contributions for health insurance and dental insurance over the leave period shall be deducted from the ARTICLE X retirement, early retirement incentive and severance pay calculation at the time of actual retirement. A teacher who returns to service in the School District prior to retiring shall repay the School District for its TRA contributions, both paid to TRA directly or reimbursed to the teacher, and the amount equal to the sum paid in salary for School District contributions for health insurance and dental insurance payments made on his/her behalf while on leave.
