Common use of Misstatements and Adjustments Clause in Contracts

Misstatements and Adjustments. If the Company finds the age (or gender, if applicable) of any payee to be misstated, the amount payable under the Annuity shall be adjusted to reflect what the payments to us would have purchased according to the correct age or gender. We reserve the right to correct any informational or administrative errors and will credit or charge interest using the current rates applicable during the adjustment period. In no event would the interest rate exceed 6% per annum.
