MISCELLANEOUS SUBMITTALS Clause Samples
The "Miscellaneous Submittals" clause defines the requirement for the contractor or party to provide various documents, samples, or information that do not fall under more specific submittal categories. This may include items such as schedules, certifications, product data, or other supporting materials needed for project administration or compliance. By specifying these requirements, the clause ensures that all necessary documentation is provided to facilitate smooth project execution and to address any unique or unforeseen informational needs that arise during the course of the work.
MISCELLANEOUS SUBMITTALS. For Oahu Only: Submit the following as applicable to the new onsite or offsite water system improvements:
1. One set of fire flow calculations for plans showing new on-site fire hydrant installations off an existing or new detector check or FM meter. Fire flow calculations shall be for the most critical fire hydrant and shall meet the minimum requirements in Section 111.03 - FIRE FLOWS, DURATION AND HYDRANT SPACING and Table 100-19.
2. Two sets of soils report showing the soil resistivity test results and rating for new waterlines exceeding 500 linear feet of new pipes only. The report shall include recommendations and calculations for the corrosion design and type of anodes to be used. Plans shall include applicable corrosion designs.
3. Two sets of soils or geotechnical survey report, drainage report, and structural calculations for new structures and facilities to be dedicated to the Department.
4. Six sets of project specifications and special provisions for new reservoirs, booster stations, ▇▇▇▇▇ and other structures.
5. Copy of latest approved master plan. The size and layout of water mains shall be in accordance with the approved master plans for new subdivisions.
6. For new subdivisions, transmission mains, reservoirs, ▇▇▇▇▇, booster stations and other larger water system improvements, submit a preliminary cost estimate for construction of all water systems prior to approval of plans.
MISCELLANEOUS SUBMITTALS. A. Provide a Submittal Schedule within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The Submittal Schedule shall list all submittals for the project referenced by draft log number. Provide the estimated date that the submittal will be transmitted to the Engineer for review.
B. Within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the Pre-Construction Meeting, submit a Proposed Products List. This list shall be a complete listing of all products proposed for use, with name of manufacturer, service headquarters, trade name and model number of each product. Partial listings will not be accepted.
C. For products specified only by reference standards, give manufacturer, trade name, model or catalog designation, and reference standards.
MISCELLANEOUS SUBMITTALS. These are work-related, non-administrative submittals that do not fit in the previous categories, including the following:
1. Maintenance agreements. Furnish one hard copy and one electronic copy.
2. Maintenance tools, spare parts, and overrun or maintenance stock. Refer to SOW for required quantities of spare parts, extra and overrun stock, maintenance tools and devices, keys, and similar physical units to be submitted.
3. Qualification certificates. Furnish one hard copy and one electronic copy.
