Minimum Performance Standard Clause Samples

A Minimum Performance Standard clause sets a baseline level of performance that a party must meet under a contract. This clause typically outlines specific metrics, targets, or criteria—such as sales quotas, service response times, or production outputs—that must be achieved within defined periods. By establishing clear expectations, it ensures accountability and provides a basis for remedies or termination if the required standards are not met, thereby protecting the interests of the party relying on the performance.
