Common use of Minimum Necessary Clause in Contracts

Minimum Necessary. Contractor agrees to request and use only the minimum necessary type and amount of Protected Health Information required to perform its services and will comply with any regulations promulgated under the HIPAA Requirements and agency guidance concerning the minimum necessary standard pertaining to Protected Health Information. Contractor will collect, use and disclose Personally Identifiable Information only to the extent necessary to accomplish a specified purpose under this Agreement.
