Common use of Minimum Necessary Clause in Contracts

Minimum Necessary. Business Associate shall limit its uses and disclosures of, and requests for, PHI, to the minimum amount of PHI necessary to accomplish the intended purpose of the use, disclosure or request.

Minimum Necessary. Business Associate shall use reasonable efforts to limit its uses and disclosures ofany use, and requests fordisclosure, PHI, or request for use or disclosure of PHI to the minimum amount of PHI necessary to accomplish the intended purpose of the use, disclosure disclosure, or requestrequest in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Rule.
