MILITARY INFORMED CARE OR CULTURAL COMPETENCY TRAINING Clause Samples
The Military Informed Care or Cultural Competency Training clause requires individuals or organizations to complete training that enhances their understanding of military culture or cultural competency. MILITARY INFORMED CARE OR CULTURAL COMPETENCY TRAINING. In accordance with Texas Government Code §434.352(e), if the Grantee is awarded a grant from DFPS to provide mental health services to veterans or veterans’ families, the Grantee is required to:
1. Have a prior history of successful execution of a grant from DFPS;
2. Provide personnel who provide mental health services to veterans or
3. Require personnel who provide mental health services to veterans or veterans’ families to complete military competency training provided by any of the following:
a. Texas Veterans Commission; b. HHSC;
