  • Credit Union Section 1. The Employer agrees to make payroll deductions available to employees who wish to participate in the Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union, as designated by the Union, or any one of the credit unions duly chartered under State or Federal statutes and approved by the Employer.

  • Notice to Credit Union You agree that the Credit Union’s retention of checks or drafts does not alter or waive your responsibility to examine your statements or the time limit for notifying us of any errors. The statement will be considered correct for all purposes, and we will not be liable for any payment made or charge to your account unless you notify us in writing within the above time limit for notifying us of any errors. If you fail to receive a periodic statement, you agree to notify us within 14 days of the time you regularly receive a statement.

  • Credit Union Deductions The Employer agrees to honor Credit Union deduction requests for members who have properly signed and executed the payroll deduction form. Such deduction shall remain in effect until the Employer is properly notified in writing by the employee of any change.

  • Credit Union Liability If we do not properly complete a transaction according to this Agreement, we will be liable for your losses or damages not to exceed the amount of the transaction, except as otherwise provided by law. We will not be liable if: (1) your account contains insufficient funds for the transaction; (2) circumstances beyond our control prevent the transaction; (3) your loss is caused by your or another financial institution's negligence; or (4) your account funds are subject to legal process or other claim. We will not be liable for consequential damages, except liability for wrongful dishonor. We exercise ordinary care if our actions or nonactions are consistent with applicable state law, Federal Reserve regulations and operating letters, clearinghouse rules, and general financial institution practices followed in the area we serve. You grant us the right, in making payments of deposited funds, to rely exclusively on the form of the account and the terms of this Agreement. Any conflict regarding what you and our employees say or write will be resolved by reference to this Agreement.

  • Credit Union Examination We may disregard any information on any check or draft other than the signature of the drawer, the amount, and any magnetic encoding. You agree that we do not fail to exercise ordinary care in paying an item solely because our procedures do not provide for sight examination of items.

  • MEMBERSHIP IN THE UNION It is the mutual desire of the Board and the Unit that all Teachers shall exercise their rights under this Collective Agreement, or the applicable Statutes of Ontario, in a professional and responsible manner without any fear of discrimination or recrimination.

  • OFFSET CREDIT/COOPERATION This Contract has been entered into in direct support of LOCKHEED XXXXXX'x international offset programs. All offset benefit credits resulting from this Contract are the sole property of LOCKHEED XXXXXX to be applied to the offset program of its choice. SELLER shall assist LOCKHEED XXXXXX in securing appropriate offset credits from the respective country government authorities.

  • FLORIDA PREPAID COLLEGE PROGRAM FOR HOUSING If the Student has or is a beneficiary of a Florida Prepaid College Dormitory Program (FPCDP) housing plan, UCF DHRL can bill the FPCDP housing plan to cover most prepayments and rental amounts. However, the Student is hereby notified that:

  • Saver’s Credit for IRA Contributions A credit of up to $1,000, or up to $2,000 if married filing jointly, may be available to certain taxpayers having a joint AGI of less than $65,000 in 2020, or $66,000 in 2021. The credit may also be available to certain taxpayers who are heads of household with an AGI of less than $48,750 in 2020, $49,500 in 2021, or married individuals filing separately and singles with an AGI less than $32,500 in 2020, or $33,000 in 2021. Some of the restrictions that apply include: • the individual must be at least 18; • not a full-time student; • not declared as a dependent on another taxpayer’s return; or • any distribution from most retirement plans (qualified and non-qualified) will decrease the eligible contribution.

  • Tax Credit for Contributions You may be eligible to receive a tax credit for your IRA contributions. This credit will be allowed in addition to any tax deduction that may apply, and may not exceed $1,000 in a given year. You may be eligible for this tax credit if you are • age 18 or older as of the close of the taxable year, • not a dependent of another taxpayer, and • not a full-time student. The credit is based upon your income (see chart below), and will range from 0 to 50 percent of eligible contributions. In order to determine the amount of your contributions, add all of the contributions made to your IRA and reduce these contributions by any distributions that you have taken during the testing period. The testing period begins two years prior to the year for which the credit is sought and ends on the tax return due date (including extensions) for the year for which the credit is sought.
