The Member Communications clause establishes the rules and procedures for how information is shared between members of an organization or group. Member Communications. County Associates shall not be prohibited from advising or advocating on behalf of a Member who is his or her patient. In addition, County Associates acting within the lawful scope of practice, are encouraged to freely communicate, and shall encourage its health care professionals to freely communicate the following to patients, regardless of benefit coverage:
3.34.1 The Member’s health status, medical care, or treatment options, including any alternative treatment that may be self administered.
3.34.2 Any information the Member needs in order to decide among all relevant treatment options.
3.34.3 The risks, benefits, and consequences of treatment or non treatment.
3.34.4 The Member’s right to participate in decisions regarding his or her health care, including the right to refuse treatment, and to express preferences about future treatment decisions.
Member Communications. If United delegates any State Contract administrative services to Provider, Provider shall include United’s name on all Covered Person communications and comply with member notification requirements outlined in Administrative Services Subcontractors (AdSS) Operations Manual and ACOM Policy 404.

Member Communications. The Union shall be allowed to use the following County communication systems. Except as otherwise expressly indicated in this Agreement, the use of the systems by the Union and bargaining unit employees shall conform to Linn County Policy 21 (Use of County Information Technology, September 29, 1998 rev.). (a) Bulletin Boards: The County agrees to furnish a bulletin board with a minimum size of approximately 2ft by 3ft for Union use in each separate office or department with three (3) or more bargaining unit employees. In multi-floor buildings, the Union shall be furnished a bulletin board on each floor per department or office where bargaining unit employees work. The Union shall work with the appropriate managers to find space with the aim of maximum accessibility to bargaining unit members. In facilities where there is no County-provided bulletin board, the Union may provide its own. The Union has the responsibility for placing and removing bulletin board material and shall assign a member the responsibility for placing and removing bulletin board material and shall assign a member the responsibility to monitor a particular bulletin board and sign and date any material prior to posting it on the bulletin board. If the County objects to the content of the material displayed, the County may remove the material and shall immediately meet with the member responsible for that particular bulletin board or, if the member is unavailable, with the Local 390 President. If the issue is unresolved, the Employer and the Local 390 President shall meet to resolve any issues.
(b) County Telephone, Scanning, and Inter-office Mail Systems: The Union shall be allowed to use the County’s telephone, scanning, and inter-office mail systems to distribute Union material.
(c) Personal work spaces, meaning those areas used by the bargaining unit members appropriate for display of such items as family pictures, may be used to display Union material such as buttons, pictures, flyers, etc.
Member Communications. BENECARD PBF will assist CLIENT in meeting its responsibility for disclosing to Members all benefit information legally required to be disclosed. BENECARD PBF will cooperate with CLIENT to provide information about the Prescription Drug Program to CLIENT for its inclusion in communications to Members.

Member Communications. HCA will define eligibility and coverage requirements that are to be used by Contractor in Member communications. HCA will establish and comply with document control policies and procedures and will set timelines in the Operations Manual each year. A single point of contact will be provided to Contractor at the beginning of each year.
