The mediator will try to help the parties resolve the problem, but will not make a decision about what should be done to resolve the problem unless you and the employer agree to this. 28.3.2 If the problem referred to the Employment Relations Service is a dispute about the interpretation, application or operation of this Collective Agreement, you must ensure that the RMTU is given notice of the dispute.
