Measuring Outputs Sample Clauses
Measuring Outputs. State Pension statements are an important product that help people plan for their retirement. In the period prior to the planned implementation of single- tier reform (in 2016) we need to provide clear/concise information in our supporting leaflet to help contextualise the estimates statements give (that will be based on the existing rules), information about the single-tier changes, and importantly what will happen to their existing position once single-tier is introduced. For those affected by the single-tier changes, we need to ensure that the leaflet provides the right information, is easy to understand (using simple language), and people can find the specific content most relevant to them. For those who will be subject to the existing State Pension rules we have already largely tested the content during research carried out in summer 2012, therefore we particularly need confirmation that such customers are locating the content that is most relevant to them, but also to still ensure they find the information clear and easy to understand. Overall success would be findings from this research that demonstrates that the new leaflet complements the information contained in the State Pension statement. There is positive feedback on the structure, design and language used in the leaflets or at very least there are clear recommendations on changes to achieve this. Customers are clear where they should go for more detailed information. They will use the signposts included in the leaflet and not make otherwise unnecessary contact with DWP or other Government call centres (unless directed to do so in the leaflet).
