Mayor. The Mayor shall have the responsibilities of the chief elected officer set forth in the WIOA and performed in accordance with the City's Charter. Among other duties, the Mayor is responsible for appointing WDB members and filling vacancies in accordance with City procedures. The WDB shall notify the Mayor and the City Council of the existence of any vacancies and its recommendations for proposed WDB members by March 1 of each year. The Mayor shall, within thirty (30) days of receipt of the notice, transmit his appointments to the City Council for approval.
