Maximum Amount of Increase in Commitment Clause Samples
The "Maximum Amount of Increase in Commitment" clause sets a cap on how much a party's financial commitment, such as a loan or credit facility, can be increased under the agreement. In practice, this means that even if the parties agree to raise the commitment amount, it cannot exceed the specified maximum limit outlined in the contract. For example, if a lender agrees to provide additional funds, the total commitment after the increase must remain within the agreed-upon ceiling. This clause serves to protect parties from unexpected or unlimited financial exposure, ensuring predictability and managing risk in the contractual relationship.
