Materials 4 Clause Samples
The 'Materials 4' clause typically governs the provision, quality, and use of materials supplied for a project or contract. It often specifies which party is responsible for supplying materials, sets standards for their quality or suitability, and may outline procedures for inspection or rejection of substandard items. For example, it might require the contractor to use only approved materials or to replace any defective supplies at their own cost. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all materials used meet agreed-upon standards, thereby reducing disputes and ensuring the integrity of the final product or service.
