Common use of Manner of Execution Clause in Contracts

Manner of Execution. All Plant, goods, and Materials to be supplied shall be manufactured, and all work to be done shall be executed, in the manner set out in the Contract. Where the manner of manufacture and execution is not set out in the Contract, the work shall be executed in a proper, workmanlike and careful manner, with properly equipped facilities and non-hazardous Materials, and in accordance with modern recognized good practice. Sources of Materials being supplied shall be intimated to the Engineer and are subject to his approval. Materials that are not specified in the Contract document shall conform to the relevant Indian Standards or in their absence conform to any International Standard approved by the Engineer. Save as otherwise expressly provided in the contract, samples shall be supplied by the Contractor at his own cost.
