MANAGEMENT ORDERS. In the event of a dispute or grievance arising, which is not promptly and amicably adjusted between the supervisor and employee, said dispute or grievance shall be submitted through the regular channels provided under the Grievance Procedure. Pending a decision on the grievance, Management’s orders shall be followed as given with regard to the employee involved. The University agrees to meet immediately with the employee and the Union over issues involving safety. Nothing in this Article is intended to be a waiver of an employee’s statutory right to refuse an unsafe work assignment.

It is understood that this Article is not intended to abridge or modify any rights an employee has to refuse to perform work that is hazardous or unsafe as provided under the Public Employee's Risk Reduction Act.

  • Patch Management All workstations, laptops and other systems that process and/or 20 store PHI COUNTY discloses to CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or 21 transmits on behalf of COUNTY must have critical security patches applied, with system reboot if 22 necessary. There must be a documented patch management process which determines installation 23 timeframe based on risk assessment and vendor recommendations. At a maximum, all applicable 24 patches must be installed within thirty (30) calendar or business days of vendor release. Applications 25 and systems that cannot be patched due to operational reasons must have compensatory controls 26 implemented to minimize risk, where possible.

  • Management (a) The General Partner shall conduct, direct and manage all activities of the Partnership. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement, all management powers over the business and affairs of the Partnership shall be exclusively vested in the General Partner, and no Limited Partner shall have any management power over the business and affairs of the Partnership.
