Malfunction detection. 5.4.1. The TPMS shall illuminate the warning signal described in paragraph 5.5. not more than 10 minutes after the occurrence of a malfunction that affects the generation or transmission of control or response signals in the vehicle's tyre pressure monitoring system.

Simulate a AEBS malfunction, for example by disconnecting the power source to any AEBS component, disconnecting any electrical connection between AEBS components, or misaiming the sensor(s). When simulating an AEBS malfunction, the electrical connections for the telltale lamps shall not be disconnected. 6.8.2. Drive the vehicle for up to 60 minutes along any portion of the test course. 6.8.3. The sum of the total cumulative drive time under paragraph 6.8.2. shall be the lesser of 60 minutes or the time at which the AEBS malfunction telltale illuminates in accordance with paragraph 5.5.2. 6.8.4. If the AEBS malfunction indicator did not illuminate in accordance with paragraph 5.5.2. as required, discontinue the test.

The malfunction indication warning signal described in paragraph 5.5. shall be illuminated whenever the towed vehicle TPMS/ TPRS/ CTIS provides a malfunction indication via the communication interface described in paragraph 5.6. 5.4.3. The malfunction indication warning signal described in paragraph 5.5. shall be illuminated whenever no valid TPMS/ TPRS / CTIS information is available from a connected towed vehicle, that is required to have TPMS/ TPRS/ CTIS, via any communication interface described in paragraph 5.6.

When simulating a LDWS malfunction, the electrical connections for the telltale lamps shall not be disconnected. 6.6.2. With the vehicle stationary and the ignition locking system in the "Lock" or "Off" position, activate the ignition locking system to the "On" or "Run" position. The LDWS shall perform a check of lamp function as specified in paragraph 5.4.3. of this Regulation 6.6.3. Drive the vehicle for up to 60 minutes along any portion of the test course. 6.6.4. The sum of the total cumulative drive time under paragraph 6.6.3. shall be the lesser of 60 minutes or the time at which the LDWS malfunction telltale illuminates in accordance with paragraph 5.4.2. 6.6.5. If the LDWS malfunction indicator did not illuminate in accordance with paragraph 5.4.2. as required, discontinue the test.

  • Sprinkler System TWENTY-SIXTH.--If there now is or shall be installed in said building a "sprinkler system" the Tenant agrees to keep the appliances thereto in the demised premises in repair and good working condition, and if the New York Board of Fire Underwriters or the New York Fire Insurance Exchange or any bureau, department of official of the State or local government requires or recommends that any changes, modifications, alterations or additional sprinkler heads or other equipment be made or supplied by reason of the Tenant's business, or the location of partitions, trade fixtures, or other contents of the demised premises, or if such changes, modifications, alterations, additional sprinkler heads or other equipment in the demised premises are necessary to prevent the imposition of a penalty or charge against the full allowance for a sprinkler system in the fire insurance rate as fixed by said Exchange, or by any Fire Insurance Company, the Tenant will at the Tenant's own expense, promptly made and supply such changes, modifications, alterations, additional sprinkler heads or other equipment. As additional rent hereunder the Tenant will pay to the Landlord, annually in advance, throughout the term $ toward the contract price for sprinkler supervisory service.

  • ACCIDENT PREVENTION T h i s p r o v i s i o n i s applicable to all Federal-aid construction contracts and to all related subcontracts. 1. In the performance of this contract the contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws governing safety, health, and sanitation (23 CFR 635). The contractor shall provide all safeguards, safety devices and protective equipment and take any other needed actions as it determines, or as the contracting officer may determine, to be reasonably necessary to protect the life and health of employees on the job and the safety of the public and to protect property in connection with the performance of the work covered by the contract. 2. It is a condition of this contract, and shall be made a condition of each subcontract, which the contractor enters into pursuant to this contract, that the contractor and any subcontractor shall not permit any employee, in performance of the contract, to work in surroundings or under conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous to his/her health or safety, as determined under construction safety and health standards (29 CFR 1926) promulgated by the Secretary of Labor, in accordance with Section 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3704). 3. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1926.3, it is a condition of this contract that the Secretary of Labor or authorized representative thereof, shall have right of entry to any site of contract performance to inspect or investigate the matter of compliance with the construction safety and health standards and to carry out the duties of the Secretary under Section 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C.3704).
