Major Release Clause Samples

Major Release. Major Releases (or upgrades) are new versions released under a new major version number (Vivaldi QMS 5.0, BizzMine 6.0...). The life cycle of such a Major is typically more than 4 years (for the Previous Major Release it was more than 10 years) The exact life cycle of such a Major Release is influenced by technical evolution and changes. A Major Release mostly requires migration of data from the previous Major to the new Major version.

Major Release. Major Release" means a new release of the Software with a change in the YY component of the Software's X.YY.ZZ version number.

Major Release. Major Release" means any additional or replacement code or Documentation for the Software provided by Active Software that adds major new capabilities or functionality and that is designated by Active, in its sole discretion, as a new Major Release of the Software. These periodic major releases can take several hours to release which means your system will not be accessible during this time. Before doing so, Fusion Sport will give the Customer as much notice as possible, and whenever practicable will agree with the Customer when the Service will be suspended. EMERGENCY UPDATES Emergency maintenance, updates, and other procedures will be scheduled by Fusion Sport on a case-by-case basis, notice will be given to the Customer where practicable and ensure that customers are notified to logout of the system and save changes. Any periodic major releases usually occur at a time when usage patterns are at their lowest to minimize the impact on you.

Major Release. The term “Major Release” shall mean Software version numbers that differ in the number to the left of the first decimal place and/or differ in the number immediately to the right of the first decimal place. For example, versions 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, and 7.1, and 7.2 are all considered Major Releases.
