Common use of Maintenance Tool Allowance Clause in Contracts

Maintenance Tool Allowance. As a condition of employment Mechanics only are required to provide an adequate tool kit as per the tool list posted in the Maintenance area and as amended by agreement by the parties from time to time. In return the Mechanics will receive a Tool Allowance of seven hundred dollars ($700.00) annually. The Tool Allowance will be paid on the employee's payroll cheque on the yearly anniversary of their hire date.
