Maintenance Tool Allowance. Skilled employees who require hand tools in performance of their duties shall provide their own tools as specified by the Maintenance Team Leader and shall be responsible for care, maintenance and replacement of same.
a. Each maintenance skilled trade employee shall be granted an annual tool allowance of one hundred and seventy-five ($175.00) for each year of the contract.
b. Special purpose tools and equipment shall be furnished by the Company.
Maintenance Tool Allowance. As a condition of employment Mechanics only are required to provide an adequate tool kit as per the tool list posted in the Maintenance area and as amended by agreement by the parties from time to time. In return the Mechanics will receive a Tool Allowance of seven hundred dollars ($700.00) annually. The Tool Allowance will be paid on the employee's payroll cheque on the yearly anniversary of their hire date.
Maintenance Tool Allowance. The Company shall pay to each maintenance employee a yearly tool allowance of two hundred ($200.00) dollars provided such employees purchase tools for their tool kit. Receipts and tools bought to be verified by Maintenance ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.
Maintenance Tool Allowance. Commencing in 2012, the Company will reimburse Maintenance employees up to $250.00 per calendar year for personal tools to be used in the workplace, payable on presentation of receipts.

Minor adjustments may be made to the ATU rate to ensure that rate is 93.75% of the full CMBC rate for Operators and Mechanic A’s. If, after applying the across the board percentage increases, there is a difference in the formulated WVT rate for Operators and/or Mechanic A’s compared to CMBC rates on April 1, 2007 then additional negotiations will be required. The Schedule “B” - Appendix history will be updated after each new Collective Agreement is bargained and revised copies issued to the parties outlined above. Selected Line Instructor(s), while engaged in working their regular shifts, will be assigned "Operators in Training" as necessary. Such line training will normally be for the purpose of affording "Operators in Training" full exposure to the requirements of the job duties.

Maintenance Tool Allowance. 1.5.1 On commencement of employment, the Company will provide Tradespersons with a tool trolley and a full set of tools appropriate to their trade.
1.5.2 Tradespersons with a minimum of 18 months service, will have the option to keep the tools issued should they leave the Company.
1.5.3 Subject to an Employee providing the Company in writing with details of any damage to or loss of tools supplied by the Company, the tools will be replaced by the Company at no charge to the Employee.

(b) Each maintenance skilled trade employee shall be granted an annual tool allowance of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) in each contract year, to be paid in the first full pay period in February of each year and the tool allowance, will be included in the regular payroll. Effective February 1, 1998, the annual tool allowance shall be increased to one hundred and seventy-five dollars ($175.00).
(c) Special purpose tools and equipment shall be furnished by the Company.
