Common use of MAINTENANCE PROJECTS Clause in Contracts

MAINTENANCE PROJECTS. $1.00 per hour additional for all hours worked on approved maintenance projects by Custodial employees. If a Custodial/Maintenance employee is assigned by the District Project Manager to perform a construction project which is beyond the scope of work performed by the Custodial/Maintenance Department, the employee assigned will receive one dollar ($1.00) per hour above his/her regular rate. The Project Manager will determine whether the project qualifies and who is qualified to perform the work. If necessary, a substitute may be hired to perform the regular work of the assigned employee.
