Maintenance Procedures. 1. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for any damages resulting from the actions of the Contractor, to any wetland or upland system beyond the areas defined in the Exhibit A drawings. The Contractor shall obtain permits and/or complete restoration plans for any damages that result from actions of the Contractor. 2. The Contractor shall commence work on the first working day of each month and complete all work within not more than a fourteen (14) working day cycle. In the event the work shall exceed fourteen (14) days, the Contractor shall provide a written request to the County for a time extension giving proper justification. Granting of any such extension will be solely at the discretion of the County and shall not exceed three (3) working days. 3. The Contractor shall complete the Daily Performance Report for herbicide application, hand or mechanical plant removal, inspections and observations for each maintenance zone. The Daily Performance Report will be located at the EWRF administration building. Completed forms shall be submitted to the County representative immediately upon completion of each monthly maintenance cycle for each zone. The Contractor shall provide written comments on the Attachment A (site Map) detailing specific zones treated with herbicides (to include quantities, applications and location, mechanically weeded areas and observations. The Contractor may request approval for use of their companies reporting format. Written acceptance shall be provided by Orange County prior to use.
