Common use of Maintenance of Tax-Exemption Clause in Contracts

Maintenance of Tax-Exemption. The City shall take all actions necessary to assure the exclusion of interest with respect to the Tax-Exempt Bonds from the gross income of the Owners of such Bonds to the same extent as such interest is permitted to be excluded from gross income under the Code as in effect on the applicable Closing Date.

The City shall take all actions necessary reasonably requested by the Authority to assure the exclusion of interest with respect to on the Tax-Exempt Authority Bonds from the gross income of the Owners of such the Authority Bonds to the same extent as such interest is permitted to be excluded from gross income under the Code as in effect on the applicable Closing Datedate of issuance of the Authority Bonds.

The City shall take all actions necessary to assure the exclusion of interest with respect to on the Tax-Exempt 2016 Bonds from the gross income of the Owners owners of such the 2016 Bonds to the same extent as such interest is permitted to be excluded from gross income under the Code as in effect on the applicable Closing Datedate of issuance of the 2016 Bonds.
