Common use of M ilitary Leave Clause in Contracts

M ilitary Leave. Employees who have at least one (1) year of service with the Company shall be entitled to up to two (2) weeks leave of absence without pay per year for the purpose of serving as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Leaves beyond two (2) weeks in any year may be granted at the discretion of the Company. Upon return from Military Leave, the employee shall be placed in the same or similar position with the same rate of pay as they occupied prior to the leave.
