Common use of LSDBE Utilization Clause in Contracts

LSDBE Utilization. The Department requires that (i) District of Columbia residents and (ii) Local, Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (“LSDBEs”) participate in this project to the greatest extent possible. To that end, the Design-Builder shall meet the goal of [ ] Percent ( %) of the Contract Work which must be awarded to entities that are certified as Small Business Enterprises by the District of Columbia Department of Small and Local Business Development. The LSDBE certification shall be, in each case, as of the effective date of the subcontract. Supply agreements with material suppliers shall be counted toward meeting this goal. LSDBE Utilization. The LSDBE certification shall be, in each case, as of the effective date of the subcontract. Supply agreements with material suppliers shall be counted toward meeting this goal. The Design-Builder has developed an LSDBE Utilization Plan, Plan that is attached hereto as ExhibitExhibit D. The Design-Builder shall comply with the terms of the LSDBE Utilization Plan in making purchases and administering its Subcontracts and Supply Agreements.
