LOT TRACEABILITY Sample Clauses

The LOT TRACEABILITY clause establishes a system for tracking and recording the movement and origin of specific batches or lots of products throughout the supply chain. In practice, this clause requires parties to maintain detailed records that link each product lot to its production, processing, and distribution history, often through unique identifiers or batch numbers. This traceability ensures that, in the event of a quality issue or recall, affected products can be quickly identified and isolated, thereby minimizing risk and enhancing consumer safety.
