Common use of Lost Check Clause in Contracts

Lost Check. Any paycheck for an employee in the bargaining unit which is lost after receipt or which is not delivered within five (5) days of mailing, if mailed, shall be replaced not later than five (5) working days following the District's receipt of a signed affidavit by the employee specifying that the employee's paycheck has been lost or not received in the mail.
