Location of work and UK travel costs. The work will be undertaken within the UK and Overseas. There may be substantial travel Overseas and the Candidate must be willing to agree to travel worldwide as required. The Contractor will be responsible for his or her travel costs from home to FCO Services main offices located in London and Xxxxxx Keynes and back home, but will be entitled to claim travelling expenses and subsistence allowance appropriate to standard civil service rates for all other authorised journeys made in connection with this contact. Travel between London and Milton Keynes offices will be reimbursable, if additional journeys to complete work are requested. Xxxxx receipts must accompany all travel and subsistence claims. Expenses will be refunded upon evidence of actual expenditure and will not exceed the maximum rates set in the FCO Geographical Expenditure Guide; a copy is available upon request. Claims relating to flying travel time can only be based for travel on FCOS business and are limited to the duration of the flight only. Time spent travelling to and from the airport; waiting time and time travelling to and from any overseas accommodation will not be refunded and must not be included in any travel claim. All travel arrangements, including all flights and all accommodation, for authorised travel must be booked through FCO Services Travel Section. All travel arrangements must comply to existing FCO Services policies for official travel both in the United Kingdom and Overseas. Any travel Overseas will be booked via the most economical route as required by the FCO Travel Policy. The Contractor will be responsible for his or her own travel costs to and from home to a UK Airport. The Client subject to the properly receipted evidence provided and approved by the appropriate Client Manager will reimburse any necessary inoculations the Contractor staff may require to perform the work or travel overseas. Any work undertaken at FCO Services, Hanslope Park and London, the cost of travel will not be reimbursed and should be absorbed within the contractor‟s rate. The exception to this, will be if the Candidate is requested to travel to more than one location in a day, then the additional travel will be reimbursed.

  • Access to Work Locations Reasonable access to employee work locations shall be granted officers of the Association and their officially designated representatives for the purpose of processing grievances or contacting members of the Association concerning business within the scope of representation. Such officers or representatives shall not enter any work location without the consent of the City Manager. Access shall be restricted so as not to interfere with the normal operations of the department or with established safety or security requirements.
