Common use of Local Authorities Clause in Contracts

Local Authorities. The Local Authorities shall have the following responsibilities under this Agreement: 6.2.1 Provide a Representative of the appropriate seniority to the Steering Group. 6.2.2 Provide a Representative at the appropriate level to the Working Group or any associated task and finish groups. 6.2.3 To facilitate the provision and maintenance of power supplies to all fixed camera sites. 6.2.4 to liaise with the local highways authority regarding the location of fixed camera sites 6.2.5 To provide certification to the Lead Authority that all operational camera sites comply with all legal and regulatory requirements. 6.2.6 To provide speed survey data as required for proposed new sites. 6.2.7 To assist the NRSP in reviewing existing sites to ensure that camera enforcement is still the most appropriate intervention. 6.2.8 Provide copies of invoices/receipts for any items charged to the NRSP, as requested, to the Lead Authority. 6.2.9 Nominate a financial point of contact to liaise with the Treasurer.
